The company said downsizing will cost $9 million to $12 million in severance pay and other benefits and should save between $40 million and $50 million annually.

nFocus Software(TM) Launches Groundbreaking Dashboard Tool Giving …
MarketWatch
, Nov 18, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) –
nFocus
Software, a leading provider of data management and analysis
software for the non-profit industry, today launched the TraxSolutions
Outcome Measurement Toolkit (OMT) — a first-of-its-kind dashboard
allowing non-profits and their funding organizations to have instant
insight into program effectiveness. By helping communities and
non-profits such as youth service organizations understand what is
working within their programs, their budgets are spent more effectively
and funding is obtained more easily. The intuitive OMT software guides organizations through the creation of
a detailed logic model — a critical process behind program planning,
evaluation and outcome tracking that is increasingly demanded by
non-profit and funding organizations. The use of logic models for
outcome measurement is widespread, as evidenced by adoption of the
process by most major funding organizations across the country. “With this dashboard, an organization’s leadership and funders can
instantly determine if they are actually accomplishing their desired
outcome, and if their programs are impacting the community,” remarked
nFocus President Ananda Roberts. “It doesn’t build the logic model for
you — it gives you a simple, user-friendly framework to build your
outcome measurement process. For organizations new to this process,
logic models are an invaluable resource in launching the
thought-processes and conversations necessary in linking programs and
activities to desired outcomes.
