Now new software is smart enough to find and reassemble fragmented digital photographs even when the directions for locating them have been deleted. The feat is similar to assembling a million pieces of a jigsaw puzzle with no guiding box-top image. ne day this software may be useful not only in its consumer applications restoring snapshots that have accidentally been erased but also in recovering deliberately deleted images that might provide evidence in cases of corporate spying or child pornography. Both companies provide software that tracks contracts and details between food manufacturers and food service operators such as restaurants hotels and hospitals. Doug McFetters president and chief operating officer of Helm said the company and its three employees will continue to operate from its Scottsdale headquarters. McFetters and Dan Buckstaff co-founded Helm in 2000. McFetters will become vice president of Answers Systems’ account executive group while Buckstaff will serve on Answers’ board of directors.
